There's also been some of the great immersion mods like Frostfall, Civil War Overhaul, and so on Light Armor Clothing at Skyrim Special - Nexus mod Everyone remembers the silly ones like Really Useful Dragons/Thomas the Tank Engine, the Bear Musician, the Sheogorath Call of Madness shout that makes it rain flaming cheese, the Macho Man Randy Savage Dragons, and so on. There's also an optional file that makes the alteration perk 'mage armor' work with all light armor Skyrim has seen some legendary mods over its time.
This allows mages (or anyone who wants to wear robes/clothes) the ability to make use of the light armor skill tree for their apparel. A very simple mod that converts all clothing into 'light armor' and adds a small amount of armor rating.
